“Video Vixen Model” Defining the true beauty within is skin deep.

The world has changed from the early 2000’s. From Technology to how the world views society. Growing up as a child it was difficult, because what the young ladies saw on TV was this false image. The image to be skinny/thin which was considered beautiful. TV and media didn’t portray the “REAL WORLD” of how women truly looked. Beautiful a decade or so ago was considered small breast, small frame, no curves and thin. Hip Hop as changed too, and the beautiful women portrayed in these videos inspired other women that maybe it’s ok to be bigger, thicker, and fuller. This was the new sex appeal. Fake breast, size 24 inch waist and a 40 inch A$$. Nicki Minaj paved the way for a more trending image. The Barbie look.

Maryln Monroe was the Queen of beauty, and her body was natural and curvy. she didn’t have a super small waist and during that time women were more comfortable in their own natural curvy skin what ever flaw that might be. Now Instagram, Facebook or Twitter Women wouldn’t dare show their true natural self to the world. We have all been there taken a picture and was too afraid to post it wondering would someone see my flaws? Being glammed up has became the new norm. In the old Skool dayz we would take a picture with our polaroid camera not caring if we had a blemish, our eyebrows weren’t done perfectly, no lip stick or lip gloss. Just being comfortable as we are. I see so many people hash tag #naturalbeauty #nomakeup? But what does that mean? Have we really come to a point where we can’t show are true self anymore on social media because so many people are watching.

I see Women dieing over plastic surgery just to stay thin in certain places and bigger in areas. Thousands of women each year go under the knife just to stay a certain way in appearance. What is this telling our younger generation who already fights a hard battle within? Young girls fight the disease of anorexia, depression and self hate to be beautiful. Why? because of what the see in the Media. the media portrays an image that does not make up the majority of the population of what women of all ages and sizes usually look like.

I would say, some Vixens have outgrown the video girl and became really good role models and business women such as Tae Heckard and Keyshia Dior to name a few. In a positive way this is good for younger women to know that when you get your foot in the door, do something else with it. Start a business inspire other people. Sometimes we can use our looks and beauty to get other positive results. I would add these models are very beautiful and attractive. I just want to inform others too that they also work out tediously and some have plastic surgery to maintain that image. I want others to know, that it’s ok to be beautiful and natural because beauty is skin deep, within.

Tae Heckard

Tae Heckard is one of my favorite video models/ actors because she is a positive smart funny woman who carries her self well. Some vixen models may no walk the same path as others and that is ok too. Just make sure to follow your self and not the leader. Be your own leader and voice. What you see on TV is not the real reality.

Women, Ladies and Girls enjoy your smile, your curves and love yourself just the way you are. We are all beautiful and god made us different and unique we are Queens.

I wonder what image of beauty would the next 10 years bring us? What would be considered the new beauty of society!
